The issue with the Kindle software is that the accesibility DLL for QT
software is not included and is deeloped by using static libraries instead
of using the dynamic QT libraries.

FYI: About the new Kindle PC software...

Dave

This software is now available at
http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=kcp_pc_mkt_lnd?docId=1000426311.

When I tried it with JAWS, Window-Eyes or NVDA, nothing meaningful was read.
JAWS and Window-Eyes were silent. NVDA just announced "pane" as I tabbed
around.

I didn't really expect anything different but it would have been nice to be
surprised.

If someone else has a different experience or is successful I'd be
interested to hear.

I saw a blurb over the weekend indicating that a Kindle software for the PC
would be made available. Not that I want to read books on the PC, having
been spoiled with my Stream, I'm wondering if they've made any attempt at
accessibility with this software?
