[Dtb-talk] NLS Player Serial Number

This is from "Digital Talking-Book Player Library Guide" page 25

The serial number and the version of software currently installed on a	 player can be obtained without entering a diagnostic level. Press the Sleep key 10 times or more within 1minute, without the presence of a book cartridge, and the player will announce both the serial number and the installed software version number.

"Digital Talking-Book Player Library Guide" has tons of other useful information in it.
