It is a standard "USB extension cable" with a mini male connector on one end, and a female USB connector on the other end.  The only real requirement is that the connector walls around the female connector need to be thin, not built up plastic.  This is so they can fit around the USB connector on the cartridge, which has the plastic lip of the cartridge very close to it.

What do you ask for when looking for a cable from Radio Shack.
