I'd be interested myself in such a product. I'd be curious though to
see if the NLS will even go along with such an idea.

AFAIK, the NLS specifically didn't want to support any mainstream
devices, for fear that it would make their scheme more "crackable".
With all the jailbreaking going on out there on the iPhone platform,
it's just about as open as a PC platform in terms of hacking and such.
I do know that the entire NLS scheme depends on the secure storage of
the decryption keys, and thus, they do not wish to support any device
that might be easily hacked to extract such keys. I would be curious
to know if the NLS would even agree to such a project in the first
place.
