[Dtb-talk] restoring a folder on the bookshelf of the Stream

Hey Mike,

what do you mean when you say you "can't find" thed digital books
folder?

If you mean that when you push the bookshelf (1) key, the stream
doesn't announce the bookshelf, that's because the stream won't
announce empty bookshelves. So, as soon as you put some books in it,
the stream will see it.

If you mean that the $VRDtb folder doesn't show up when you look
at your card on the computer, you can easily just recreate the folder
with windows explorer.

The stream will only recognize daisy books if they are under the
$VRDtb folder. You can, and are encouraged to, create subfolders to
put books in, but they must be under the $VRDtb folder.

Good Luck,

Jim

Anyway, I deleted it as per the Stream's suggestion if I wanted it to quit popping up. I then deleted the two digital books in the digital books folder (climbing the highest mountain and call of the wild.) Now, I can't find the digital books folder listed on the bookshelf. Was it deleted once I erased the other books on it? Is there a way to restore it? Will it still play digital books if they are stored in another folder (i.e., NLS books or bookshare?)
