    Why knowingly post such an application if such serious and potentially 
destructive bugs exist?

Options XML Generator file generator will generate an  options.xml file for 
the DS-1 and DA-1 digital talking book players used by the National Library 
Service in the United States.

This web application is sponsored by the Commonwealth Braille & Talking Book 
Cooperative will generate the options.xml file and let you save it to your 
computer or view it on screen.

Important Note: Some of these options are destructive to data stored on the 
player or may change the function of the player in unexpected ways. Caution 
should be used. You have been warned!
