[Dtb-talk] What are the cheapest accessible ebook readers?

Thanks, Steve. I don't care so much about the voices, I'm looking for
stability and durability at this point. My plan is to use both the NLS
player and a second commercial player, probably the BookPort Plus.

I think the BookSense number for battery life may have been exaggerated,
since it seemed to be more like eight hours for me. One problem I am having
is the USB port is no longer able to charge the BS--the AC adapter port went
months ago--and the BS got down to a 1 charge, which means it can't even
charge at all now, so again, I'm dubious about what the numbers for battery
life mean in regard to the BS.

Either way, battery life seems a moot point when a device doesn't even last
for two years and I could have bought two of another player for the same
price.
