Hi Steve,

The battery I got is available through Radio Shack.  It is designed to help 
extend battery usage to a smart phone, Iphone in particular.  Should the 
battery in the phone become weak during a conversation as an example, one 
plugs this battery into the phone and it starts charging thus extending 
one's time on the phone.  This could involve listening to streams as well. 
I plugged the BPP cord into this battery since this is a USB connection.  It 
charged the BPP just fine.  The battery is small in size so it wouldn't take 
up much room either.  I'm not certain what these are called but may do some 
searches on radio shack dot com to see if I can get an exact name for it!
