March 25, 2013 HumanWare announced today that
Audible audiobooks will be supported on the new
Victor Reader Stream. The new version of the
popular Stream media player for the visually
impaired was announced on January 29th. HumanWare
has partnered with Audible for over five years,
enabling customers to enjoy access to content
from Audible from several HumanWare devices,
including the Stream, BrailleNote Apex and ClassMate Reader.

"The Victor Reader Stream has tremendously loyal
and enthusiastic customers, a large proportion of
whom are also loyal Audible.com customers, owing
to Audible's vast selection of audiobooks and
high quality of compressed audio files," says
Chris Bender, Director of Product Strategy at
HumanWare. "The Stream's ability to play Audible
4 and Audible Enhanced Audio encoded files will
allow our mutual customers to continue enjoying
Audible content for years to come".

The new Stream began shipping on February 28, and
a software update allowing the player to play
Audible.com content is planned for release in
late April*. For customers with access to a
wireless router, software updates can now be
downloaded directly to the new Stream using its
convenient wireless access feature.

* Release dates are subject to change without notice.
