My problem is I'm not sure it's worth all the hassle. I was just hoping for
a Q&D solution.

Suggest you send these to Ed O'riley at NLS. And send them to collection
development committee when they meet. Whether they are reproducible depends
upon the quality of the original master. They may have degraded enough that
they would need to be re-recorded. Having served on the committee, I know we
keep such requests in mind. Finally, you may want to attend the library
services committee on Wednesday evening (registration day) at the national
convention.
