Mike, you might look into the Kindle For PC from Amazon. The Amazon
site can be complicated, but there is an accessibility setting that cuts
out some info but works better than the graphics-laden regular site.
You can contact Kindle Customer Service for info. If you do get the
Kindle For PC app,. be sure to get the accessibility add on.
