[DTB-Talk] A little bit embarrassed, and don't know what to do.

I don't want to make this into a big deal/thread like I've done in the
past with some things, but here's the deal.

I recently moved. I did some of the packing, but not all of it.

In the process of me going through my boxes, and unpacking here at my
new place, I realized that in one of the boxes, was a book which
evidently, in braille, I checked out from the NLS at one time, God only
freaking knows when! I don't even recall ever checking out this book, as
I hardly ever do braille.

It must have gotten lost at my old place, and I'd back in the days
forgotten about it, asuming something had happened to it. I really don't
remember. Anyway, it's in tip top mint condition, and looks like it
barely's been touched.

What's worse is, I moved from North Carolina to a completely different
state. I'd rather not reveal which one for security reasons, as I'm not
the most fond of disclosing online where I live. It's a long story, but,
yeah.

Anyway, what do I do? I don't wanna be penalized if the library finds
out I still have this book, which I've had for who knows how long. I
honest to God did not mean to do this! It was an honest mistake! LOL!

I don't even have one of the book mailer boxes with the little buckles
attached. Can they just send me a self address free matter mailing which
is empty that I could put it back in and send to them? A friend told me,
if you've had that book now for over a year, which I bet I have, not
knowing, they probably by now have just filed it as lost, and have
re-embossed it, no biggy, it happens, just keep it. Returning it now
wouldn't be practical, but somehow, that doesn't sound honest, and I
wanna do the right thing.

Chris.
