Press the button below the enter key that says "Please say a command."
Then press number 4 and 7 on your keypad. That will tell you battery status.
#42 will tell you if you have voicemail. 43 tells you if you have any
messages, 44 gives you all of your missed calls, 45 gives you the time, 46
tells you how many bars you have.

I just recently got the LG enV2 cell phone. I have been able to get someone
to read enough of the manual to me so that the phone is pretty accessible to
me. Its confusing to not have speech for a lot of functions beyond the
second layer of menues though. I'm wondering if there's a way for me to have
my phone tell me things like battery status, or how many bars I have, or
what the time is? All those things would be useful to know but I can't find
my way to any menu with such options. Is there a voice command to obtain
such information?
