I am afraid I agree.  Like I said, I really hate to be so negative about 
this; for you see, I too was hoping for better.  It seems like the only 
solution is for the NFB to find an investor willing to put up some capital 
while we ourselves direct the research and development of such a box.  I 
hate to say it; but, I just don't see the cable or satellite box makers or 
companies even caring about this matter.  Even the fact that we passed a 
resolution on this matter makes not a hill of beans worth of difference to 
them; assuming they even bothered to notice.  So, what then do we do?  Sue 
them?  Hardly.  Why not?  The time and expense of such a thing would about 
drain us dry.  Yet, it seems to me that a law suit is about the only thing 
they'll listen too.  Perhaps, though, we could just threaten to sue and 
maybe that will be enough.  I don't know about you; but as for me, I'm sick 
and tired of things being this way.  I'm also sick and tired of the attitude 
which I myself have adopted toward this subject; but, it's the truth as I 
know it and absolutely nobody whom so ever has even tried to come up with a 
solution.

i assume the conversation in the design meetings go all the line ..

why are we spending time and money to design something for the visually
impaired....  "they do not watch television".
