I have windows xp media on my computer with a TV tuner, I connect the cable
line in to the pc and can change channels, record brodcasts and view
recorded programs. All works well with speech.

That said, when my 5 or 7 year old daughters ask me to put on a DVD or
on-demmand show on our TV in the family room, I can not help them. It is
extremely frustrating and doesn't make me feel very good to have to say pls
ask your mom.
