But can it play NLS books or Audible.com books?  Probably why I bought the 
Victor Reader Stream, which costs more than an off the shelf MP3 player, but 
it's totally accessible and for that we do pay a price.  These companies put 
as much development into their product as the mainstream companies, but 
because they will sell less units, the development cost into each unit is 
more therefore the retail price will be higher.  I don't have as much a 
problem with it as most people do because the alternative is these companies 
could have done other things other than develop technology for the blind.
