Yes that is true. However because description is very limited in the U.S. 
mp3's are really the only way to get what you want.
The U.K. has all sorts of described programming and most blind people 
exchange mp3s because of the size.
In a perfect world we would have dvd's with accesible menus and popular tv 
show described as well but...
