[Electronics-talk] voice recorders

Why is it so important to have a rechargible battery?  Most folks I know are
always looking for a way to be able to replace batteries.  The Olympus
recorders get fabulous battery life.  I've had one for almost a year and a
half, and have changed batteries 3 times.

perhaps so, but it will suck even worse if you get it taken away going thru
mild pat down at a concert.
it's not exactly super compact.
