[Electronics-talk] talking AT&T phones

Have you folks noticed that the phones that use the simbian software are
very un stable and drop allot of calls?
the last phone I had was the nokia 6650, I had to go out away from my
building to use it.
But the one I use now works just fine were ever I go.
but all I can do is make and receave calls, I can't tell who's calling or do
a conference or anything.
and it is not just my building, anyware that you get a weak signal, or it
jumps around, they will drop.
the nokia 6650 is a very nice phone otherwise.
I had a friend bring one over, his phone would maybe give him 20 seconds
until it would drop, but my cheap non accessible phone never drops.
I guess we have to choose accessibility or having a stable phone that you
can use.
They will work just fine for 1 to 2 months, that's what I don't get about
them.
Why will they work fine then start doing that.
I don't drop or get my phone wet, and I'm not the only one that has these
problems.
And the friend that had his 6650 over, he don't have talks or mobile speak
yet, so it's not that.
