There are many of us out here that can't afford a reliable phone that has
speech to used with DirecTV and I should point out for those who are thing
of acquiring a HD DVR from DirecTV, thinking that the quality with their
Video or Sound carrier, I would for get this idea, given that their
over-the-air section with their equipment is not supported and that one has
to enter a zip code to capture the over-the-air channels. Then there is the
fact that mos of your satellite programs originates from the head in from
the master C-band satellites, given the reason that the signal is a direct
line-of-site, not the case with the small little DirecTV system. With
DirecTV and their computer, both system have to used a repeater, then their
signal is deliver to ones home or apartment dwelling. This coming from the
person who use a big dish and Over-the-air antenna. The idea of having a
company to deliver a signal on a piggyback is not my idea of having a
excellent quality reception.
