I don't know about the pda but with windows at least windows xp you
can't use the microsoft bluetooth stack it doesn't support using
headsets as far as i can tell.  You'll need the widcom bluetooth stack
in order to use it with the desktop assuming it's a windows xp desktop.
I tried for a while, then got the widcom stack and it worked great.  hth
