Thank you. I tried it, but I don't see IE 8.0 (or any other IE for that
matter) in the "add/remove" section of the control panel.
Am I just not seeing it?

Go to the control panel, then to add and remove software. Press inter.
find Windows Internet Explorer 8 and uninstall it.
That should roll you back to IE 7, which will work with Jaws eight.

Subject: [Electronics-talk] Possible OT: JAWS 8.0 and IE 8.0
Hello list,
This may be off topic, but I just downloaded Internet Explorer 8.0. I am currently running JAWS 8.0, and when opening up a webpage, I get a prompt to open parent document. I can't select this with the enter button or the space bar. My wife, who has sight, says that the webpage appears normal to her, but I can't see it.
Any thoughts on how to make IE 8.0 work properly or how to get rid of 8.0 and reinstall 6.0 would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Craig
