Tony Sohl has a K-NFB Reader Classic that he is willing to sell. This is the
first handheld unit manufactured. Included is all the documentation in
print, Braille, cassette, and CD. Also included are the case for the unit,
charging adapter, and software version 3.8.1. The software is on an SD
(Secure Digital) memory card. The data is stored on a compact flash card
that can be used with other notetakers such as the BrailleNote and PAC Mate
for reading.

The only problem he reports was that, when the PDA needs to be recalibrated,
sighted assistance is required. He is asking $1,200 or best offer. If you
have any questions, contact Tony at <tonysohl at cox.net>.

List,

Does anyone know of a web site sorting Code Factory supported phones
by service provider? I am trying to see if any Verizon phones will run
Moble Speak. The Verizon customer service folks I spoke with did not have
such a resource and I could not locate a way to sort by service provider on
Code Factory's web site.

Thanks,

patrick

For a users group that focuses on Verizon phones and accessibility, try:

BlindusersVerizonPhones at yahoogroups.com

The list was originally dedicated to the Verizon LG8350 phone. It now
is focused on accessibility and any Verizon phone.

As with all lists, you'll get more than one opinion, but people are
thoughtful about keyboard functioning, ergonomics, etc etc

best
