[Electronics-talk] Purpose of List

I think the problem is between the words accessible and adaptive. My
washer/Dryer is accessible because it has turning knobs and by me having a
list of what each knob has for selections makes it very useable for me. On
the other hand that Washer/Dryer is not adaptive. It would be nice if it
spoke the selections as the knobs were turned.

I just went through the whole NFBNET lists and if I didn't know the purpose
of this list I would think to ask about cell phones and speech here because
it said accessible electronics. But again, it's a misnomer of the blind
community to interchange accessible and adaptive.
