1000 bucks is indeed a lot, and I'd never pay that much.  I'd trust folks 
honesty first.  But $300 is the middle of the road and I know it's accuracy 
is great.
However, the $99 unit may be as good as the $300 unit.  So keep in mind 
accuracy along with cost.
