[Electronics-talk] Digital Talking Book Players

I think you might have missed David's point. On the lists web site, it says
the following:

"This list is intended for the sharing of information about, and discussion
of the accessibility of various consumer electronics devices. Sharing of
information
about, and discussion of MP3 players; cell phones and other telephones; DVD
players, receivers and other stereo and video components; satellite and HD
radios; and household appliances including microwaves, washers, dryers,
stoves, and the like; is appropriate and encouraged. With more and more
devices
having inaccessible controls or displays, a place to share information and
experiences is needed."

In other words, this list is to talk about the accessibility of off the
shelf consumer electronics and not products designed specifically for the
blind. Therefore, players designed to play NLS Digital Talking Books would
be off topic for this list.

I'd suggest the PC-Audio list is a more appropriates list for this
discussion. You can find the information for that list at
http://pc-audio.org/mailman/listinfo/pc-audio_pc-audio.org
