Hi Brian. Unlike Gerald, I have had great success with the atomic watches
and clocks. I live in Wheeling, so we are not that far apart.
Occasionally, my wrist watch misses the signal out of Fort Collins CO., but
this is very rare. I have checked my watches against WWV and the seem to be
very accurate. Unfortunately, I have never had a Grundig. Maybe it is just
too good to be right! Were you able to set the time zone? Even when I
have had a battery replaced, my units seem to reset themselves within 24
hours. Good luck
