In addition to my talking watch, I also have a small talking timer/clock I
purchased from Independent Living Aids for $9.99. It's about 2.5 inches
square, so if my talking watch were to suddenly die, I can just carry this
little gizmo around in my pocket until I buy a new talking watch. The great
thing about this timer/clock is that it uses two easily replaceable AG13
batteries which are cheap and easy to find. This timer/clock has a
slide-off battery compartment cover, so the batteries are easy to reach. In
fact, you can buy this timer/clock from ILA now through Dec. 20 with free
shipping. When I'm not carrying it around, I use it to time my workouts on
my treadmill.
