Hi,
In recent years, a coffee pot is the trendy item to have. It has all kinds of features to improve the taste of your cup of coffee. For our wedding, my husband and I got a Cuisinart with the grinder built in and an insulated stainless steel pot that keeps the coffee hot for up to 12 hours without having to sit on a hot plate. It was $149. We also got another one last year that has become popular - the Keurig one cup coffee pot for about the same price. Neither has a talking feature, but both are very user friendly and obviously cost more than $80, so I think that is a reasonable price as long as the end result is a good cup of coffee. I don't care how expensive or cheap a coffee pot is, if the coffee does not taste good, it is not worth it.
