[Electronics-talk] ATM's

Speaking of ATM's, my bank has one with speech but guess where it is! It is
at the drive-up window. Tell me how much sense that makes. That is the
only ATM this bank has. Today I plan to call them.

Steve,
The ATMs in my area have been slowly coming accessible with speech output.
The thing I have noticed when attempting to use these machines is that when
they upgrade them with speech, a lot of times they remove the Braille
labels. This is a big problem as the ATM needs both speech and Braille since

without the Braille there is no way to identify what button you are pressing

unless you memorize every machine in your area. hope this helps
Drew
