A few years ago we bought a front loading Frigidaire LTF2940ES0 from Home
Depot. It's mostly accessible. There's a dial that clicks and beeps so you
can set it for normal, heavy, permanent press, .... There are other buttons,
with rows of lights above them, where you can override the defaults for
things like temperature. This is a one time set up, so you could get some
help, or you could do what I do and that's just take the defaults. There's
another button to start the washer and another one to stop it. I find it
very accessible and easy to use.

Subject: [Electronics-talk] Washers
My clothes washer just conked out. It is very old. I know I need a new one.
I am particularly looking for one that tumbles the clothes, in other words,
something without an agitator, but more than that, I need one that is
accessible to use. Could you tell me what kind of washers you have,
particularly, if any of you have recently purchased a washing machine? This
is pretty urgent, so any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
