[Electronics-talk] Cordless Phone:

Hi Jim,

I have 2 panasonic phones with talking caller ID. Neither of them announces
both the name and number. Is there a setting I am somehow missing or am I
being cheap, again, and not buying the right model? (smile)

Warm Regards,

Fred

I really like the Panasonic phones. They're cordless, so I can have
them throughout the house, so I can hear the caller ID wherever I
am.

Also, the Panasonic phone announces the name and number of the person
calling me. I haven't found a talking caller ID box that will do
this. I'd love to hear of one. There are some that will announce
contacts that you've put into them, but none that will announce the
name and number off the caller ID signal.

If someone wanted to review who called them, then you'd need a caller
ID box. BTW, you can have both. The phone to get extra information
and more places that announce the caller ID; and the talking caller ID
box that lets you review who has called.

Take Care,

Jim
