no. Mine does not. Others might. My family can see a visual
display of who's calling. Like if it beeps and a call came from
our great-grandma in phx, it would say Gonzales D. If she called
while the line was free, panasonic will announce "call from
Gonzales D".

at our house, we have a panasonic KX-TG6444 which seems to work
fairly well. It's got 4 handset, built-in base dial pad, and
talking CID. It was $149.99 at amazon.com, on August 30th.

I got a panisonic KXTG6582 Last summer and it announces both name

without anychanges out of the box. This model is also blue
tooth and
picks

Also, your phone company needs to provide you with the extra
information. This is sometimes an extra service called things
like
"extended caller ID"

If someone wanted to review who called them, then you'd need a
caller
ID box. BTW, you can have both. The phone to get extra

and more places that announce the caller ID; and the talking
caller ID
box that lets you review who has called.

Panasonic
and it provides a limited amount of information. This device

provides information in audio about the name of the person
calling

the telephone is ringing. You are not able to hear a call log

the menus on the device are accessible. This is only available
as the
call is coming in. FCC regulations have resulted in this; so,
the FCC
