Just one more detail.  When I went to upgrade my phone, (just to check you see), the Samsung Haven did not show up as being compatible with my plan.  Not to worried about that though, since, after all, I should be able to just talk to a Verizon rep who might tell me something completely different.  Many thanks.

For those of us on Verizon, it is about time! For now, it will be my phone till the I-phone is available (grin smile)!  The blind users Verizon phones lists has been discussing this almost non stop for three or four days now!  Curtis Deltzer is preparing a podcast about this phone where he'll go into depth  about its capabilities.  I don't have a link for this yet!
