Hi the Onkio receiver that I have is very accessible and it's an older 
model. My dad sest it up for me for example, output 2 is to the DVD player 
and when I press the button for DVD then the entire receiver will turn on 
and the DVD movie will start playing through the speakers. Similar to the 
cable box which is on video 3 and when I press video 3 then the tv will 
start playing depending upon if my cable box is left on or not. I hope this
