Gerald,

I bought my first McIntosh piece in 1973. Actually, There is some 
tube equipment on the site. There's aso a Fisher receiver on there 
right now and a Fisher amp. I think the latter is tube.

I'm glad not to have to deal with tubes. The MR78 was McIntosh's best 
analog FM tuner. The service manager said they had about 14 of them 
for sale at the moment.
