Hi.
well did get a post from some one on vip-l at freelists.org
they say they use it and is very accessible.
but now, is there any talking hard disk recorders, which will read out,
and using a talking remote control.
too much to ask i suppose.
any one got any information.
i just e-mailed colbolt systems.
nothing there.
so i e-mailed them.
now, to read me out the electronic program guide, able to select say a
time to record a program on a weekly basis, like star trek voyager for
example.
then able to select the program to watch, then delete.
and to forward and rewind, between the add breaks.
at the moment, my mum has to record these programs for me, and they have
a 42 inch Panosonic hd tv, with a Byonwitzh set top box and hard disk
recorder.
and i do not have one on my Panosonic 32 inch tv down stairs in a room
under the house.
just a straight tv, and a remote.
on a stand.
so, to watch say knight rider, the six million dollar man, etc.
have to get my mum to select the program, time, then select it for me.
then i can then start watching, then i can use the forward and rewind
buttons on the hard disk recorder remote, to skip trhough the adds.
so wondering.
any one got any information.
or am i dreaming.
this would be handy for the blind.
i am totally blind.
Marvin.
