Hi Debbi,
If that is the Sharp EL-640, I think the order of entry goes something like
4-digit year, then 2-digit month, and finally 2-digit day of the month.
It has been a long time. The order of the month and day could be reversed,
but I'm pretty sure the year goes first.
Best of luck.

I know I should be embarrassed to ask this question but, well, I'm not.
Today I had to replace the batteries in an old Sharp talking
calculator/clock. Can't remember how to set the calendar. I just got lucky
when setting the clock... Can anyone help? Thanks.
