[Electronics-talk] talking toaster ovens

Why would you need a talking toaster oven? Most toaster ovens have
mechanical knobs or slider switches that make them easy to set by touch. In
fact, a toaster oven is probably the easiest cooking appliance for a blind
person to use because it does not have a flat touch pad like a microwave
oven . You can find very good Black & Decker models for under $30 that are
usable right out of the box. All you may need to do is place a few tactile
dots at strategic points around the dials to designate specific cooking
temperatures or time intervals.
