[Electronics-talk] Talking microwave ovens

Wow, I had a Cook Magic many, many years ago and I also had a Braille
overlay which I think I got from them. That microwave was very durable!

Hi Gerald,

I think you are correct in saying that the Panosonic NN-SD377S and that
other talking microwave from Maxie Aids or Amazon.com are the only choices
left other than marking one's own microwave oven. Yes! the one is high
priced but then it would be about like buying another Victor Reader stream
and one could absorb that with a credit card or pay it off! sometimes my
wife has problems with reading braille with her diabetes and having other
options seem more attractive! She thinks she can put these little dots on
the touch pad and they'd work fine! I question this especially if such
could hinder the function of a button. I'm not certain how this will turn
out! I called a store that had one on the floor. It is 14 inches and has a
9 and 3/4 inch turn table. I don't think my bacon keeper would fit the
panosonic. It sounds good in many ways but I think I need the size of the
cook magic.

Thanks so much for your insight!

Jim
