Is there a dropbox icon in your system tray? If not, then the dropbox application is not running. This means that the application is not starting when you start your computer. To fix this, you need to go to the dropbox configuration and change this. The icon for the configuration center can usually be found on the start menu. Also, make sure that you have your account information correct in the settings. Please email me off list if you continue to have problems, and I will be glad to help you trouble shoot further. Also, as a side note, I think that this is slightly off topic for the list, so, if you reply, please write back off list.
