[Electronics-talk] I phone question

One of our members called with a question about this and since I don't have an I-phone I don't know the answer, so I hope someone out there does.  He was putting a new contact in and pressed done before he was finished.  How can he go back and either edit the contact or delete it a start over.  He has the manual but can not find the answer of how to do this.  If you can give me a detailed idea I will pass it along to him.  Thanks.
