Yeah, I have too, cause I think there is no agreement here.
I don't think that its wrong to buy a nice watch if you have the money. It's just for those of us who haven't, for most of their life, and have had to except the lowest quality and the ugliest watches and other aids that didn't work as well as the higher quality aids simply because they have issues that keep them from working, and the companies know this and so do the state agencies, that spend as little as possible and then think they are so great because they did something great for the blind should be ashamed of themselves.
As far as the companies that make watches or any other adaptable equipment or not, as seco for example. they make enough money that they could give those of us with fixed incomes a break if it didn't come down to the all mighty dollar.
I'll no longer continue this post because we're not getting anywhere.
