The whole purpose of CAPTCHA's is to be difficult to understand. The
theory is that if they are difficult to understand, that they will block
computers from accessing the site. The problem is that computers are
becoming smarter. As far as I know, if sighted assistance is not
available, the best solution is to use Firefox with the Webvisum
plug-in.

Subject: [Electronics-talk] capchas

Does anyone have a good way to handle these beside vision? I can not
understand them and when I type what I think I hear well it doesn't take
it. So far I have just avoided sites that use them because I have no
other choice. I rarely have someone around that can help me with it
when I need them. I've tried to call or contact the company but guess
what no phone number and contact us email never gets a response! I've
seen some very easy to understand capchus a couple of times but others
are just to obscurer to understand. Anyone have any good idea's of how
to handle them accept with good old vision?
