Webvisum is a Firefox add-on that solves image captchas using some sort of 
proprietary technique.  Once you have installed Webvisum, you use Firefox to 
load the  web page containing the captcha you want to solve, and press 
Alt-Control-numrow 6 to submit it for analysis.  When the captcha has been 
solved, the result is placed on your clipboard, ready to be pasted into the 
appropriate edit field.  It works about 95% of the time.  For many users 
like me, Webvisum is the only reason to use Firefox which has too many 
glitches to function as a primary browser.
