With Narrator getting better and better it seems though freedom scientific
might want to look at seeling the Jaws license to Microsoft as it's current
high price won't be at all appealing if narrator comes even close in
functionality. It's only a matter of time.

You're right as far as it goes, but the question that that entrepreneur will
wrestle with, is whether he will be able to recupe his investment of time
and money in light of the alternatives.

Narrator is part of the Surface RT tablet. It is not currently on any
Windows 8 phones.
This all being said, there's no reason why some smart entrepreneur shouldn't
make a better screen reader than the one that comes with the OS and charge
for it. We can either pay for it or not as we see fit.

perhaps phones as well.

Competition is good, and if Code Factory can come up with some new and
better ways of doing things then I think we all benefit. I'm worried that
depending solely on the platform for screen reading might stifle some
innovation.

Talk Back to work well with a competitors app, whereas Code Factory may come
up with some ways to make those apps accessible, like maybe the kindle app.
I know Amazon has some responsibility to make their apps accessible, but if
there are other ways to skin that cat, I know I'd be interested in keeping
my job while I'm waiting for each individual company to get that message.

they'll be successful. Otherwise they won't be. I'm rooting for Code Factory
just because I think options are good.

accessible solution to access a cell phone.
