[Electronics-talk] Mobile Accessibility v2.0 is now available!

Hi,
exactly, I believe there is always a need for purchasing screen readers like
jaws.
We need complete screen readers. As you said, Microsoft only does their
products and
employers use more than office products. I don't see the demand for jaws or
window eyes going down any time soon.

I agree Narrator could improve to the point where FS would lose enough
JFW sales that their business model would become unsustainable, but
Narrator will never be as complete a screen reader solution as JFW. For
example, I don't see MS investing anything at all in supporting
competing products, such as Lotus Notes, Lotus Sametime, Libre Office,
Open Office, Google Chrome, Google Docs and so on. This may not impact
the home user much, but there are quite a few employers out there who
don't exclusively use MS products, even on Windows.

Also, people don't have to wait for Narrator to improve. NVDA is already
a free screen reading option for Windows that's currently far better
than Narrator.
