[Electronics-talk] descriptive TV

This simply isn't true. I don't disagree that there's some fragmentation
in the blindness community and that there's some debate between the
organizations representing the blind, but to say they spend more time
squabbling amongst themselves than fighting for meaningful change is
just an outrageous, incorrect and indefensible statement. You also
choose to ignore all of the positive accomplishments by the various
advocacy groups for the blind and just pick and choose a few points that
you over simplify and use in unfair analogies.

Blind people are people first, so just as you'll find disagreements in
the general population, there's no reason to think that won't happen in
the blindness community. The hearing impaired community also isn't as
free as disagreements as you would have people believe. Just use the
issue of implants as an example.
