I  loved this Roger, there is one on a  list for used one selling for $1400.
And I  got such a  laugh but your post said it best.

the Intel reader with capture station sells new for $595.00 plus shipping,
so you might want to lower the price to under $400.00, since it is not a
very good scanning product for the blind, as not given the approval by the
NFB Dr. Maurer!
