Hi Tony,

Dar loves her stove. The burners turn on as they would on any other stove. When one burner comes on and the heat can be felt without touching them, like feeling sunlight through a window. Slide a pan  over the burner till it is over the heated burner.  You should hear water boiling as an example!  It takes getting use to but it is nice!
